Curriculum

“Creating learning experiences everyday through play”

Children’s learning is central to everything we do. Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities to extend and develop their knowledge and skills.

Our quality programs promote each child’s individual skills by focusing on their needs and strengths using an interactive online application (EDUCA-digital portfolios) designed specifically for Early Childhood Education centres and parents.

Our curriculum is directly based on the Early Years Learning Framework for Australia and the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework. The Framework includes practice, principles and learning outcomes for children, families and educators to utilise to further every child’s development and learning.

At Little Assets, our holistic learning experiences are underpinned by an ever-changing curriculum. Each child is taken into account in our educational programming, because every child learns differently. We incorporate a wide range of interest areas and topics, encouraging children to become open-minded, curious learners.

The core of our curriculum is the Early Years Learning Framework. With this as our guide, you can be assured that your child is receiving a quality education. When they leave our care and enrol in Primary School, the skills and capabilities developed through this framework will serve them well, leaving them as confident, capable young members of their school community.

We value the input of children and parents into our curriculum. If you have any suggestions for learning experiences, don’t hesitate to share them with us. Many of our most wondrous activities were suggested by community members!
