Medication Policy
Little Assets offers exceptional care and learning to help children reach their full potential.
MEDICATION POLICY
Supporting the health and wellbeing of children
Any medication must be in the original bottle or container and prescription medications must include the original prescription label and instructions.
Little Assets will not administer any medication without a written consent from a child’s parent. Medication consent forms are available in the rooms underneath the sign-in sheets. Please do not leave medication on the counter or in your child’s bag.
Parents must hand all medications, instructions and consent forms personally to the room staff. Our qualified staff checks the consent form and the dosage prescribed on the medication and a second staff member witnesses the qualified administer the medication as prescribed on the container. They then both sign on the consent form which later needs to be signed by the parent before the consent form is filed away.
