Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Little Assets Early Learning.

Little Assets is family-owned since 2007. We adopt a Reggio Emilia philosophy in our teachings. We create spaces that are home-like integrated with beautiful natural outdoor spaces. Our educators are all long-term, we do not use any agencies for casual staff and we have a strong family partnership and community.

We have degree-qualified teachers, diploma educators, educators with first aid and CPR qualifications and we constantly provide professional development to our staff.

We use the Story Park app to upload photos, learning updates, meals and any communication between educators and parents.

Every child settles differently. Our educators work closely with families to understand routines, comfort items and individual needs. We create a gradual and supportive transition process to help children feel safe, secure and confident in their new environment.

  • 2–3 years: 1:4
  • 3–5 years: 1:11

Our minimum enrolment is two days per week. We find that attending at least two days helps children build meaningful relationships with their educators and peers, establish a sense of routine, and settle more confidently into the learning environment. It also allows our educators to create more consistent and engaging learning experiences tailored to each child's development.

Yes – we recommend putting your child's name as soon as possible to guarantee the next available spot. You can do so by completing a "Join Waitlist" form on the website. Please ensure you add your preferred centre for the tour.
