OUR CURRICULUM
Creating experiences every day through play

Introduces the natural world
Playing outside encourages a free-flowing education of a child’s natural surroundings. Whether learning how plants grow or how insects live, such an experience fosters an all-important respect for nature that children can carry forward into the future.

Strengthens physical skills
Children naturally run, jump, skip and throw balls when they’re outside – strengthening muscles, increasing motor skills and improving hand-eye coordination. Plus, the more active children can be, the more likely they’ll remain healthy and engaged.

Inspires imaginative play
There’s nothing like the outdoors to inspire creative, unstructured play. Outdoor activities, games, and role-play provide perfect opportunities for children to develop their language skills and social/emotional interactions with others. And have a whole lot of fun doing it.

We Ensure your Little Ones are Getting the Highest Standard of Care
Dear Little Assets Families,
My name is Dency Patel, and I am absolutely delighted to introduce myself as the new Centre Director here at Little Assets- Kew. I am so excited to begin this journey with you and your children, and I can’t wait to get to know each family personally.
I bring over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and leadership, and I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment where children can flourish, families feel supported, and educators feel empowered. I was born in India and have been living in Melbourne with my family, which has given me a rich appreciation for the diversity within our community. I’m a strong advocate for celebrating cultures and traditions, and I believe every child should feel proud of their heritage while also embracing the beauty of other cultures.
As a proud mum to a lively two-year-old, I understand firsthand the trust families place in us to care for and guide their children. That personal experience drives my commitment to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn each day.
I’m looking forward to working alongside our wonderful Little Assets team, listening to your ideas, and continuing to build a warm, inclusive community where children can thrive.
